West Lancs visit the City of Dreaming Spires
 
On a bright Saturday morning in mid October a party of Brethren from West Lancashire made an early start to venture into the District of Thames Valley to attend their District meeting, prior to which would be the Installation of a new District Grand Prefect.

Arriving at South Oxford Masonic Hall they were welcomed by Ian Bailey the District Grand Prefect Designate following the welcome they were able to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits and Bacon Barmcakes.

Leading the deputation was the DGP Paul Snape; he was accompanied by the Dept.DGP William Richmond, Geoff Catterall District Secretary and Stuart Leach.

The Ceremony was conducted by the Grand Master Tom Jackson, supported by a team from Grand Council.
Visiting District Prefects 
Following the meeting the party were able to enjoy the warm sunshine and liquid refreshment in the company of friends from both the District of Thames Valley and other Districts visiting the meeting.
Can I have a lift home?
Following the four course Banquet the party made their way back to Lancashire not before coming across another Lancastrian needing transport back to Chorley.
